Creamy Marinara Penne with Sausage and Peppers-031

Rich, flavorful and chock-full of colorful peppers, this dish warms the soul.

Tip: You can use mild or spicy Italian sausage according to your preference.


Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (12 oz/340 g)
    Creamy Marinara Penne
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Olive Oil
  • 1 Pound
    Italian Sausage, Sliced
  • 1
    Red Pepper, Sliced
  • 1
    Yellow Pepper, Sliced
  • 1/4 Cup
    Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. In large, deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Sauté sausage for about 5 minutes or until browned.

  3. Add peppers and sauté for about 5 minutes or until softened.

  4. Add penne and 4 cups water

  5. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until pasta is tender.

  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
